Voronezh, the noughties is a time when the glamour from magazines is just reaching the regions, stretch jeans are worn with sequins, "Hands Up!" sounds from every iron, salaries are no longer given out in biscuits, but life is still based on wit and family ties. 35-year—old Dasha is a divorced mother, works at a factory and secretly meets with her boss Roman. She lives in a three-bedroom apartment with her parents and 14-year-old daughter. But one day her sister Lena suddenly moves into the apartment with her husband Seryoga and two children. To defend the right to the only large room, Dasha decides to announce her relationship with Roman and force him to move in with her. Now there are nine people under one roof and every day turns into a survival comedy. At the same time, ten years later, Dasha's ex-husband Dima appears, confident that he must return his family and his former life. A real family blockbuster begins in the apartment, where the stakes are love, a roof over your head and a place on the couch.
