After the Revolution, new people came to power in Russia, but it was too early to talk about a bright future. The enemies were defeated, but a new threat appeared: bandits. Criminals of all stripes felt complete impunity, robbing and killing even during the day. Yakov Koshelnikov's bandits instilled pure terror. They spared no one, and they were nicknamed "Koshelnikov" for their love of other people's property. Only investigator Trepalov dared to challenge the insolent gang.
