Sara Roose is a driven and ambitious police commissioner, who is entitled to promotion to team leader of the violence cell. But that promotion ultimately goes to a man. Ironic pit bull Max Cuypers, genius neurotic Stan Van Riel and casual womanizer Ludo Mannaert are three older and sidelined detectives who no longer get a job in the force. The police top decides to solve the pain points in one go by setting up the cell for unresolved cases. Sarah becomes team leader after all and they finally know what to do with Max, Stan and Ludo. The new service is tucked away in the archive room of the federal police. Nobody expects much from this team, but they are still a success. Week after week, these unconventional police heroes prove themselves not to be underestimated and bring old cases back to life. With old and new techniques, not always by the book, but with results.
