The father of Lee Jung Do is a swindler and intents to return to his scam as soon as he was released from prison, even though he promised his son to quit. Lee Jung Do has difficulties finding a job due to his father's criminal record. Having overcomed these obstacles, he passes law exams and becomes a prosecutor. Detective Oh Young Joo's precinct is in Lee Jung Do's neighbourhood. Wealthy born Kim Joon Ki is also keen to become a prosecutor, but when he meets Oh Young Joo, he is trying to pursue her even though she is not interested in him. Though Lee Jung Do's father promised to quit, he hooks up with Moon Chae Ri to do one major last job.
