Restaurant singer Ksenia marries a military psychologist, who is soon sent to a hot spot. Pregnant Ksenia is thrown out onto the street by her husband's brother, without any documents. An underground doctor delivers the babies prematurely. Three girls are born. Ksenia cannot be saved.
