Żmijowisko tells the story of a group of thirty-year-old friends from college who go with their children on vacation to the summer resort Żmijowisko. One evening, during a party filled with alcohol, 15-year-old Ada, the daughter of Arek and Kamila, disappears. A large-scale search begins, but the girl cannot be found. A year later her father returns to the place of the tragedy to resume the search.
