An Dong is a Chinese politician who previously served as Deputy Party Secretary and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress. Born in Yangxin County, Shandong, in November 1954, he joined the workforce in August 1974 and became a member of the Chinese Communist Party in February 1985. He holds a Doctor of Laws degree and completed postgraduate studies while in service.
