Following appearances in television series, Sachdev gained notable roles for his portrayal as Dev Purohit in the Zee TV drama series Chotti Bahu (2008–2012) and Shlok Agnihotri in the StarPlus romantic drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir (2013–2015).
