Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning is a 2018 first-person survival horror game developed and published by Micah McGonigal. Inspired by Sonic's Schoolhouse (1996), and made for the "Meta Game Jam" in 2018; it parodies 1990s educational games. The player is tasked to collect seven notebooks and escape the school to take them to the player's friend who lost them, while avoiding being caught by Baldi.
