David Samuel Cohen, better known as David X. Cohen, is an American television writer. He wrote for The Simpsons, penning such episodes as "Lisa the Vegetarian" and "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show". He coined the word cromulent for the episode "Lisa the Iconoclast". He co-developed the animated television series Futurama with Simpsons creator Matt Groening.
