Donna Jo Napoli
Donna Jo Napoli is an American linguist and writer of children's and young adult fiction. She is a professor at Swarthmore College teaching linguistics, including its relationship to such subjects as Comparative Literature Studies, music, dance, and theater. She has previously taught at Smith College, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Georgetown University, the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and the University of Pennsylvania.
