Ivan Milkov Kurtev is a Bulgarian politician, founder and long-time leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). He served as a Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria in the 37th and 38th legislatures from 1995 to 2001 and was a senior figure in the Union of Democratic Forces (SDS) during the 1990s.
