Joel Bergvall is a Swedish-American filmmaker, media executive, and narrative strategist. He first gained international recognition with the short film Victor (1998), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film, and the feature film Den Osynlige, which was critically acclaimed, screened internationally, won multiple festival awards, and was later remade in the United States by Spyglass Entertainment and Disney.
