John Corey Whaley is an American author of contemporary fiction novels for young adults. His debut Where Things Come Back won the Printz Award from the American Library Association in 2012, recognized as the year's "best book written for teens." His second novel, Noggin, was a finalist for the 2014 National Book Award for Young People's Literature and was on Time Magazine's list of the 100 Best YA Books of All Time.
