Isidingo was a South African soap opera with dialogue primarily in English and isiXhosa. The series premiered on SABC 3 on 7 July 1998 and was broadcast on weekday evenings at 19:00. Until 2001, it was titled Isidingo: The Need, after which the name was shortened to Isidingo.
