Peter J. Chelkowski

Peter J. Chelkowski was a Polish-American scholar of Iranian and Islamic studies. He is best known for his research on ta'ziyeh, the traditional Iranian dramatic art form commemorating the martyrdom of Husayn ibn Ali.
