Richard Alan Schroeder is an American former competition swimmer who competed for the University of California Santa Barbara as a breaststroke specialist and was an Olympic gold medalist in the 4x100 Medley relay both in 1984 in the Los Angeles Olympics and in 1988 in the Seoul, Korea Olympics.
